Make Your Will Precede State Statutes
Estate Plan
We will send you a questionnaire to gather general information. We will discuss and explain the significance of dispositive provisions and make your intentions into actionable items. With actionable directives, we will prepare a complete estate plan consisting of a Will & Trust with Powers of Attorney (Medical and Financial). We will review and discuss with you, the decisions that you have made before we make the final plan.
Prepare two Witnesses
Under Texas Law, to make a self-proving will, two witnesses are required. Each witness must be: at least 14 years old, of sound mind, credible, and disinterested. The witnesses attest to the testator’s: signature, soundness of mind, and free will in executing the last testament.

Meeting
After you approve of the drafts, we will schedule a meeting. The attorney will deliver the estate plan and explain relevant points of law to the testator and witnesses.
Execute the Estate Plan
If agreed, the testator will execute the estate plan and two witnesses will provide their signatures.
the Notary
The notary will notarize the witness' signatures to make the Will into a self-proving document.
Records
The estate plan will be scanned into electronic format as back-up copies while the original hard copies will remain with the testator.
Outside of the DFW Metroplex
Meetings will be held via telephone or video conference at the testator’s discretion.
Execution of the Estate Plan shall be arraigned by the testator who shall receive the documents via UPSP priority mail.
Notary services will be arraigned locally and by the testator.
Records hard copies shall be stored according to the testator. The testator agrees to have of all final documents scanned into electronic format and forwarded to this office for storage and retrieval.
